Walgreen (WAG) Issues 5.8% Decline in May Comps
Walgreen (NYSE: WAG) reports sales during the month of May fell 1.6 percent to $5.98 billion. Total same-store sales were down 5.8 percent.
Total front-end comps were down 1 percent, prescriptions comps were down 7.6 percent, and pharmacy comps were down 8.5 percent.
