Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. (NYSE: WMT) said Comparable sales for the periods ending November 25, 2005 rose 4.3% (3.8% at Wal-Mart Stores and 7% at SAM'S). The company estimate comparable sales in the U.S. for the December five-week period to be in the 2 to 4 percent range.
