WLSN Announces May Comparable Store Sales Increase of 11.0%

Wilsons The Leather Experts Inc. (NASDAQ: WLSN) comparable store sales increased 11.0% for the four weeks ended May 28, 2005; this increase compares to a 6.4% decrease in comparable store sales for the four weeks ended May 29, 2004. Year-to-date comparable store sales increased 15.0% compared to a decrease of 2.8% in the same period last year. Comparable store sales for the prior year-to-date period do not include sales from stores that were liquidated.
