WAG May Sales Increase 13.5 Percent

Walgreen Co. (NYSE: WAG) had May sales of $3,599,733,000, an increase of 13.5 percent from $3,171,536,000 for the same month in 2004. Sales in comparable stores (those open at least a year) rose 8.8 percent.
