United Airlines (Nasdaq: UAUA) reported its preliminary traffic results for October 2006. The company reported an October passenger load factor of 80.6%. Total scheduled revenue passenger miles (RPMs) increased in October by 2.3%on a capacity increase of 2.3%in scheduled available seat miles (ASMs) compared to the same period in 2005.
