US Airways Group (LCC) Reports July Traffic

US Airways Group, Inc. (NYSE: LCC) reported July results for 2007. Revenue passenger miles (RPMs) for the month were 6.0 billion, up 1.8 percent from July 2006. Capacity was 6.9 billion available seat miles (ASMs), down 0.9% from July 2006. For the second consecutive month, US Airways set a record with passenger load factor of 86.3% versus 84.1% in July 2006.

America West and US Airways report combined operational performance to the Department of Transportation. For the month of July 2007, the combined domestic on-time performance was 66.3% with a completion factor of 98.1%.
