US Airways Group (LCC) Reports January Traffic Results

US Airways Group, Inc. (NYSE: LCC) reported January traffic results. Revenue passenger miles (RPMs) for the month were 4.9 billion, up 4.7% from January 2006. Capacity was 6.6 billion available seat miles (ASMs), up 0.8% from January 2006. The passenger load factor for January was 73.3% versus 70.5% in January 2006.

America West and US Airways report combined operational performance numbers to the Department of Transportation. For the month of January 2007, the combined domestic on-time performance was 71.8% with a completion factor of 98.5%.
