The Buckle (NYSE: BKE) announced that comparable store net sales, for stores open at least one year, for the 4-week period ended May 30, 2015 increased 2.4 percent from comparable store net sales for the 4-week period ended May 31, 2014. Net sales for the 4-week fiscal month ended May 30, 2015 increased 4.5 percent to $75.2 million from net sales of $72.0 million for the prior year 4-week fiscal month ended May 31, 2014.
Comparable store net sales year-to-date for the 17-week period ended May 30, 2015 decreased 1.3 percent from comparable store net sales for the 17-week period ended May 31, 2014. Net sales for the 17-week fiscal period ended May 30, 2015 increased 0.9 percent to $346.6 million from net sales of $343.6 million for the prior year 17-week fiscal period ended May 31, 2014.
