The Buckle (NYSE: BKE) announced that comparable store net sales, for stores open at least one year, for the five-week period ended April 4, 2015 decreased 0.5 percent in comparison to comparable store net sales for the five-week period ended April 5, 2014. Net sales for the five-week fiscal month ended April 4, 2015 increased 1.7 percent to $108.5 million compared to net sales of $106.6 million for the prior year five-week fiscal month ended April 5, 2014.
Comparable store net sales year-to-date for the nine-week period ended April 4, 2015 decreased 1.5 percent from comparable store net sales for the nine-week period ended April 5, 2014. Net sales for the nine-week fiscal period ended April 4, 2015 increased 0.5 percent to $197.1 million from net sales of $196.1 million for the prior year nine-week fiscal period ended April 5, 2014.
