Target (TGT) Reports Increase in Same-Store Sales

Target Corporation (NYSE: TGT) reported that its net retail sales for the four weeks ended September 1, 2007 increased 11.6% to $4,707 million from $4,218 million for the four-week period ended August 26, 2006. On this same basis, comparable-store sales increased 6.1%.
Year-to-date are $32.497 billion, an increase of 9.5%. On a comparable-store basis, sales were up 4.8%.
