Target (TGT) Reports 4.5% Rise in June Same-Store Sales

Target (NYSE: TGT) reports total sales for the month of June were $6.256 billion, up 5.7 percent from the same period last year. Same store sales rose 4.5 percent.
"We’re very pleased with Target’s June comparable-store sales, which were at the high end of our expected range," said Gregg Steinhafel, chairman, president and CEO. "Our teams continue to focus on delivering fashion, value and reliability in every merchandise category both in stores and online.
