Target Corporation (NYSE: TGT) said comparable-store sales increased 3.9% from fiscal October 2005. CEO Bob Ulrich said, "Our October comparable store sales growth was in line with our expectations."
Net retail sales for the four weeks ended October 28, 2006 increased 9.7 percent to $4.054 billion.
