TD AMERITRADE Holding Corporation (NASDAQ: AMTD) reported 196,000 average client trades per day in August 2006. Qualified accounts totaled 3,237,000. The Company opened 30,000 and closed 14,000 accounts during August, resulting in 6,170,000 total accounts.

The Company reported average client margin balances in August of approximately $7.2 billion. Client margin balances totaled approximately $7.0 billion, and client assets totaled approximately $258 billion, of which cash and money market assets amounted to $38 billion.
