Stein Mart, Inc. (Nasdaq: SMRT) announced total sales and comparable store sales for November - Sales were $144.7 million vs. $135.4 million for November of 2005. Same-store sales (total) increased 6.9% and 3.8% (comparable).
During November, the best sales trends were in men's and ladies' sportswear. Geographically, all regions of the country were positive, with the strongest sales performance throughout the South and in the West.
