Starbucks (SBUX) June Comps Rise 6%, Below 7% Wall Street View

Starbucks Corporation (Nasdaq: SBUX) said on a comparable store sales basis, June sales at Company-operated stores increased 6%, versus the consensus of 7%.
Consolidated net revenues of $751 million for the five-week period ended July 2, 2006, an increase of 22 percent from consolidated net revenues of $618 million for the same five-week period in fiscal 2005.
Starbucks President and CEO, Jim Donald, said, "In June, we continued to deliver solid revenue and comparable store sales growth in line with our growth targets."
