SkyWest (SKYW) Reports January Traffic Results

SkyWest, Inc. (Nasdaq: SKYW) reported an 11.1% increase in revenue passenger miles (RPMs) for January, while available seat miles (ASMs) increased 13.5% compared to the same period last year. The combined airlines generated approximately 1.3 billion RPMs for the month, while ASMs increased to approximately 1.8 billion. Load factor was down 1.6% to 72.2% compared to 73.8% for the same period last year. Passenger boardings for January totaled 2,484,470 a 6.8% increase over January 2006.
