SkyWest, Inc. (Nasdaq: SKYW) reported a 15.5% increase in revenue passenger miles (RPMs) for April, while available seat miles (ASMs) increased 13.9% compared to the same period last year. The combined airlines generated 1.47 billion RPMs for the month, while ASMs increased to 1.87 billion.
Load factor was up 1.0 percentage points to 78.6 percent compared to 77.6% for the same period last year. Passenger boardings for April totaled 2,828,277 a 9.8% increase over April 2006.
