Rite Aid Corporation (NYSE: RAD) May same store sales were up 1.3% on total drugstore sales of $2.539 billion, versus $1.716 billion in the same period last year. Pharmacy comps were up 1.4% and front-end comps were up 1.3%.
Prescription revenue accounted for 67.0% of drugstore sales, and third party prescription revenue represented 96.2% of pharmacy sales.
