RAD Said Feb SSS rose 2.3%

Rite Aid Corporation (NYSE: RAD) said for the five weeks ended March 4, 2006, same store sales increased 2.3 percent over the prior-year five-week period. Pharmacy same store sales increased 2.7 percent, while front-end same store sales were up 1.7 percent.
