PriceSmart (PSMT) Reports 25.5% Increase in Sept Y-o-Y Sales

PriceSmart, Inc. (NASDAQ: PSMT) announced that for the month of September 2011 net sales increased 25.5% to $146.3 million, from $116.6 million in September a year earlier. There were 29 warehouse clubs in operation at the end of September 2011 and 27 warehouse clubs in operation at the end of September 2010.
For the four weeks ended October 2, 2011, comparable warehouse sales for the warehouse clubs open at least 13 1/2 full months increased 18.9%, compared to the same four-week period last year.
