Pacific Sunwear (PSUN) Reports March Same-Store Sales

Pacific Sunwear of California, Inc. (Nasdaq: PSUN) reported that total sales for the five weeks of fiscal March ending April 7, 2007 were $140.3 million, an increase of 17.6% over total sales of $119.3 million during the same five week period last year.
Total Company same-store sales increased 14.1% during the same period.
Due to the 53rd week in fiscal year 2006, total sales and comparable store sales for fiscal March 2007 are compared to the five-week period ended April 8, 2006. By concept, PacSun same-store sales increased 16.4% and demo same-store sales decreased 4.3% compared to the same five week period last year.
Total Company same-store sales increased 14.1% during the same period.
