Pacific Sunwear of California, Inc. (Nasdaq: PSUN) today reported retail sales for the five week period ended January 5, 2008, its fiscal December month, were $234.6 million. The Company's same store sales fell 2.8% during the December month.
Based on weaker than expected performance in December, from a comp sales perspective, Pac Sunwear said it expects to see non-GAAP EPS for its Q4 in the range of $0.29 to $0.32, versus the consensus of $0.31.
Pacific Sunwear of California, Inc., through its subsidiaries, operates as a specialty retailer of casual apparel, footwear, and accessories for teens and young adults in the United States.
