PSUN Reports Total January Sales Increase 20.0%

Pacific Sunwear of California Inc. (NASDAQ: PSUN) reported that total sales for the four weeks of January of fiscal 2004 were $65.3 million, an increase of 20.0% over total sales of $54.4 million for the four weeks of January of fiscal 2003. Company same store sales increased 8.1% for the comparable four-week period ended Jan. 29, 2005, with PacSun same store sales up 8.2% and d.e.m.o. same store sales up 6.9%.
