PSUN Announces April Sales Results

Pacific Sunwear of California, Inc. (Nasdaq: PSUN) reported that total sales for the four weeks of fiscal April ending April 30, 2005 were $76.4 million, an increase of 3.5% over total sales of $73.8 million during the same period last year. Total Company same store sales decreased 6.4% during the same period. By concept, PacSun same store sales decreased 6.4% and d.e.m.o. same store sales decreased 6.4% compared to the same four week period last year.
