Northwest Airlines (NWA) Announces July Traffic
Northwest Airlines (NYSE: NWA) announced a July consolidated (mainline and regional) load factor of 87.7%, 0.4 points below July 2006. Northwest reported a mainline load factor of 88.4%, 0.7 points below July 2006.
In July 2007, Northwest and its Northwest Airlink regional carriers flew 7.27 billion consolidated revenue passenger miles (RPMs) and 8.3 billion consolidated available seat miles (ASMs), a traffic decrease of 0.5% and a capacity increase of 0.1% versus July 2006.
Northwest flew 6.78 billion mainline RPMs and 7.67 billion mainline ASMs in July 2007, a traffic decrease of 0.6% and a capacity increase of 0.2% versus July 2006.
