Nordstrom (JWN) Reports May Same-Store Sales Increased 7.8%

Nordstrom, Inc. (NYSE: JWN) reported preliminary sales of $600.8 million for the four-week period ending May 27, 2006, an increase of 10.1% compared to sales of $545.6 million for the four-week period ending May 28, 2005. Same-store sales increased 7.8%.
