NWY Reports May Sales Results

New York & Company, Inc. (NYSE: NWY) announced that total net sales for the four-week period ended May 28, 2005 increased 4.4% to $96.8 million, compared to $92.7 million in the prior year period. Comparable store sales increased 0.6% for the four-week period, compared to a comparable store sales increase of 21.2% in the prior year period.
