Mothers Work (MWRK) March Comps Up 3.6%; Updates Guidance

Mothers Work, Inc. (Nasdaq: MWRK) said comparable store sales increase of 3.6% for March 2007. The company projects second quarter diluted earnings per share will be between $0.37 and $0.42 per share, a significant increase from the $0.09 diluted earnings per share for the second quarter of last year and within the earnings guidance range of between $0.32 and $0.50 per share (diluted) that they provided in our January 24, 2007 press release (the consensus is $0.43).
