Mothers Work (MWRK) Announces November Sales

Mothers Work, Inc. (Nasdaq: MWRK) announced that net sales for the month of November 2007 increased 2.3% to $46.5 million from $45.4 million reported for the month of November 2006. Comparable store sales for November 2007 were flat (a 0.0% change)(based on 1,438 locations) versus a comparable store sales decrease of 1.3% (based on 1,463 locations) for November 2006.

Rebecca Matthias, President, Chief Creative Officer and Acting Chief Merchandising Officer of Mothers Work, noted, "Our sales performance for the month of November 2007 was in line with our previous guidance that we provided in our November 20, 2007 press release, and reflects an improved sales trend compared to our comparable store sales decline of 3.9% in October."
