McDonald's (MCD) April Global Comps Up 5%

McDonald's (NYSE: MCD) global comparable sales increased 5.0% in April. U.S. comparable sales rose 2.0% for the month. In Europe, April comparable sales increased 6.3%. The 7.8% increase in Asia/Pacific, Middle East and Africa was fueled by strong comparable sales growth in Australia, China and most other markets, partly offset by Japan.
