Macy's, Inc. (NYSE: M) same-store sales were up 2.5 percent in September 2012 as compared to September 2011. This was below the estimate of 3.3 percent.
Total sales were $2.358 billion for the five weeks ended Sept. 29, 2012, an increase of 2.7 percent.
