Average daily dollar value traded in April 2007 was $9.60 billion, up approximately 8.4% from $8.86 billion in March 2007, and up approximately 5.2% from $9.13 billion in April 2006.
Average daily U.S. equity trade volume in April 2007 was 1.15 million, up approximately 7.9% from 1.06 million in March 2007, and up approximately 16.7% from 1.0 million in April 2006.
Average daily U.S. equity share volume was 4.70 billion in April 2007, up approximately 16.0% from 4.05 billion in March 2007, and down approximately 10.4% from 5.24 billion in April 2006.
