JetBlue Airways Corporation (Nasdaq: JBLU) reported its preliminary traffic results for March 2010. Traffic in March increased 9.1% from March 2009, on a capacity increase of 6.4%.
Load factor for March 2010 was 81.3%, an increase of 2.0 points from March 2009. JetBlue's preliminary completion factor was 97.% and its on-time (1) performance was 72.1 percent. JetBlue's preliminary passenger revenue per available seat mile for the month of March increased 17 percent year over year.
