Nordstrom, Inc. (NYSE: JWN) reported preliminary sales of $1.16 billion for the five-week period ending December 31, 2005, an increase of 10.7% compared to sales of $1.05 billion for the five-week period ending January 1, 2005. Same-store sales increased 7.7%
