Gymboree (GYMB) Reports November Same-Store Sales Increase

The Gymboree Corporation (Nasdaq: GYMB) reported net sales from retail operations for the four-week period ended November 25, 2006 of $73.7 million, an increase of 13% compared to net sales from retail operations of $65.1 million for the same four-week period last year.

Comparable store sales for the four-week period increased 5% compared to a 22% increase in comparable store sales for the same period last year.

"November sales came in slightly higher than expected," said Matthew McCauley, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. "We are looking forward to the critical December selling period and continue to be focused on reaching new customers through our holiday merchandising and marketing efforts."
