Gap (GPS) Comps Fell 6% in December

Gap Inc. (NYSE: GPS) today reported retail sales for the five-week period ended January 5, 2008 came in at $2.20 billion, a 6% decrease from last year's $2.34 billion in the same period. Gap's same store sales for the period fell 6%, compared to an 8% drop in December 2006.
