Gap Inc. (NYSE: GPS) said comparable store sales for August 2007 decreased 1%.
The company reported net sales of $1.20 billion for the four-week period ended September 1, 2007, which represents a 4 percent increase compared with net sales of $1.15 billion for the same period ended August 26, 2006.
