GYMB Reports April Sales

The Gymboree Corporation (Nasdaq: GYMB) reported net sales from retail operations for the four-week period ended April 30, 2005, of $44.5 million, an increase of 3% compared to net sales from retail operations of $43.0 million for the same four-week period last year. Comparable store sales for the four-week period decreased 3% compared to a 1% increase in comparable store sales for the same period last year.
