Frontier Airlines (FRNT) Announces July Traffic

Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT) announced preliminary traffic results for July 2007. Revenue passenger miles increased 18.5% to 1,006,431,000 for July 2007 from the same period last year. Available seat miles increased 14.1% to 1,137,363,000 for July 2007 from the same period last year. This resulted in a record load factor for July 2007 of 88.5%, an increase of 3.3 points from July 2006, and the highest load factor in the history of the Company. The airline carried 1,064,964 passengers during July 2007, a 16.3% increase from July 2006. The airline reported passenger yield of 11.63 cents for the month of July 2007, a decrease of 2.9% from the same period last year. Its passenger revenue per available seat mile was 10.29 cents, up 0.08 cents or 0.8% from July 2006. For the month of July 2007, the airline's average length of haul increased 1.9% to 946 miles, compared to the same period last year.
