Fred's Inc. (NASDAQ: FRED) reports March sales came in at $178.3 million. Same store sales for the period increased 1.2%, compared to the same period last year.
On a year-to-date basis, Fred's same store sales rose 1.1% from the same period last year. Sales came in at $326.8 million so far in 2008.
