Fred's (FRED) Comps Rose 1.8% During February

Fred's Inc. (NASDAQ: FRED) reports total sales for the month of February were $146.4 million, compared to $149.2 million in the same period last year.

Same stores sales for the month rose 1.8%, compared to an increase of 1.1% in February '08.
