Ford's (F) November US Sales Unchanged, But Adjusted, Up 8.7%

Ford (NYSE: F) has just reported its US auto sales numbers for the month of November.
On a year-over-year basis, total sales came in at 123,167, essentially unchanged from the 123,222 reported in the same month last year. Breaking this figure down, car sales jumped 14%to 42,479, crossovers rose almost 26% to 27,720 units, SUV's fell 20.8% to 8,381 and total truck sales were also down, by 6.7%, to 76,067.
On an adjusted-for-sales-days-basis, Ford sales during November rose 8.7%, which compares to an analyst estimate of about 4.1%.
Ford also gave a Q1 production estimate with the release of its November results: plans to build 550,000 vehicles during the quarter, up 201,000 units, or about 58%, from the same quarter in 2009. The automaker also noted that its Q4 production plan remains unchanged from its previous forecast of 570,000 vehicles.
Shares of Ford have moved slightly higher on the monthly results. The stock most recently traded at $9.04, up 1.7% from yesterday's close.
