Federated Department Stores, Inc. (NYSE: FD) said September same-store basis were up 1.3 percent. Sees EPS of $0.20 to $0.25 per share for the third quarter and $2.35 to $2.45 per share for the fourth quarter, versus the consenus of $0.54 and $2.70 (may not be comparable).
