FD Saw Feb. Same-Store Sales Increase 1.0%

Federated Dept Stores (NYSE: FD) reported total sales of $1.801 billion for the four weeks ended Feb. 26, 2006, an increase of 64.1 percent compared to total sales of $1.097 billion in the same period last year. On a same-store basis, Federated's February sales were up 1.0%.
