• Abercrombie & Fitch Co. (NYSE: ANF) up 9.5% after 9% increase in June comps
  
• Nordstrom Inc. (NYSE: JWN) up 5% after 14% increase in June comps
  
• J. C. Penney Company, Inc. (NYSE: JCP) 7% higher after 4.5% rise in June comps
  
• Limited Brands, Inc. (NYSE: LTD) up 5% after 6% increase in June comps
  
• Costco (Nasdaq: COST) up 1.2 percent after a 4% rise in June comps
  
• Macy's, Inc. (NYSE: M) up 1.7% after reporting 6.5% rise in June comps
  
• Dillard's Inc. (NYSE: DDS) indicated higher after 2% rise in June comps
