Duckwall-ALCO (DUCK) Same Store Sales Rose 3.8% in March
Duckwall-ALCO Stores, Inc. (Nasdaq: DUCK) reports an 8.4% jump in March sales to $42.6 million. Same store sales rose 3.8%.
Larry Zigerelli, President and CEO, commented, "We are pleased with our third consecutive month of same-store sales growth. Growth occurred despite the impact of significant unseasonable winter weather causing numerous store closings over the past three weeks, and the Easter shift from March last year to April this year. Our turnaround plan to significantly improve the fundamentals of our business continues to progress."
