Dress Barn (DBRN) March Same-Store Sales Were Up 2%

Dress Barn, Inc. (NASDAQ: DBRN) March sales results increased 5% to $125.3 million compared to $119.8 million reported for the comparable five-weeks ended April 2, 2005. Comparable store sales increased 2% for the fiscal month of March.

Dress Barn, Inc. (NASDAQ: DBRN), is a national specialty apparel retailer offering quality career and casual fashion apparel through its dressbarn and maurices brands. As of April 1, 2006, the Company operated 799 dressbarn stores in 45 states and 518 maurices stores in 39 states.
