Dillard’s, Inc. (NYSE: DDS) announced today that merchandise sales for the five weeks ended April 2, 2011 were $519,844,000 compared to sales for the five weeks ended April 3, 2010 of $526,858,000. Total sales decreased 1%. Sales in comparable stores decreased 1% for the five weeks ended April 2, 2011.
Sales for the nine weeks ended April 2, 2011 were $1,012,455,000 compared to sales for the nine weeks ended April 3, 2010 of $1,026,049,000. Total sales decreased 1%. Sales in comparable stores decreased 1% for the nine weeks ended April 2, 2011.
