DaimlerChrysler AG (DCX) Reports February Sales
DaimlerChrysler AG (NYSE: DCX) reported total group sales of 191,810 passenger vehicles in the U.S. for February 2007, an 8% decrease compared to February 2006. All sales figures in this release are on an unadjusted basis unless otherwise noted.
Chrysler Group, consisting of the Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge brands, posted sales of 174,506 vehicles in the U.S., a decrease of 8%.
Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) reported sales of 17,304 new vehicles for the month of February. As a group, Mercedes-Benz luxury light trucks (M-, R-, GL- and G-Class) continue their strong performance with a 16% increase over February 2006. Total Mercedes-Benz Feb. sales were flat (0.0%) compared to 2006.
