DaimlerChrysler (DCX) Said Chrysler Group March US Sales Up 2%
DaimlerChrysler AG (NYSE: DCX) reported total group sales of 237,829 passenger vehicles in the U.S. for March 2006, a 12 percent increase compared to March 2005. All sales figures in this release are on an unadjusted basis unless otherwise noted.
Chrysler Group posted sales of 216,412 vehicles in the U.S., an increase of 2 percent.
Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) posted sales of 21,417 units, up 18 percent compared to the same month last year and posing its best March on record.
